Sinton ISD is using a consultant from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) to manage its superintendent search. TASB is a taxpayer-funded lobbying organization that often works against property tax relief and parental rights at the state capitol. This gives a special interest group significant influence over who leads the district and the criteria used for selection.

Ask them: ‘Regarding Item V.2, why is the district paying a lobbyist group like TASB to select our next superintendent? We need a leader focused on students and taxpayers, not Austin politics.’
