New Superintendent to be Discussed Behind Closed Doors
πŸ“… August 25, 2026
The Prosper ISD Board of Trustees is meeting in a closed session to discuss the search for and employment of a new Superintendent. While personnel discussions are legally allowed to be private, the hiring of a new district leader is the most significant decision the board makes. The next Superintendent will set the district’s direction on budget priorities, academic standards, and parental rights for years to come.
Response

This meeting is closed, but taxpayers can still influence the process. Email the Board of Trustees and ask for transparency in the selection criteria. Demand that the community be given a chance to meet and ask questions of the finalists before a final decision is made. Board contact information is available on the Prosper ISD website.

πŸ’° Impact: The long-term fiscal and policy direction of the entire school district.
