Potential Changes to Board Rules and Public Access

📅 September 24, 2026

The board is set to approve its “Operating Procedures.” These rules govern everything from public comment time to how items are placed on the agenda. Without the text of the proposed procedures, taxpayers cannot know if their right to speak is being restricted or if transparency is being reduced.

Response

INVESTIGATE: The district has not published the proposed ‘Board Operating Procedures.’ Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand the proposed text be posted online before the vote on this item. Taxpayers have a right to see the rules before they are changed.
