Superintendent Search Firm Discussed in Secret
📅 October 13, 2026
The board is meeting in a closed executive session to discuss hiring ‘Impact Education Specialists’ as a superintendent search firm. This moves a key decision-making process, with significant financial and leadership implications for the district, behind closed doors before a public vote.
Response

Email the Community ISD Board of Trustees (contact info on the district website): ‘Regarding Item 3.A.1, I urge you to conduct the superintendent search process with maximum transparency. Please make the proposed contract and total cost for any search firm public well before a final vote is taken.’
