WARNING (LEVEL 6)
District to Set State Lobbying Agenda
📅 November 5, 2026
The Board will receive an update and discuss its priorities for the 90th Legislative Session. This is the first step in deciding what the district will lobby for or against in Austin, often using taxpayer funds to work against property tax relief, transparency, and parental rights.
Response

GET INVOLVED EARLY: This is where the district’s lobbying plan begins. Contact the Board of Trustees (see the district website for contact info) and ask them to make their proposed legislative agenda public. Demand their priorities for Item 4.A focus on local control and property tax relief, not lobbying against taxpayer interests.
