WARNING (LEVEL 7)
District Paying Lobby Group for Facility Study
📅 October 15, 2026
The board will discuss a ‘Facility Study’ from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). TASB is a registered lobby group that advocates for higher taxes and spending; their studies often serve as the justification for large bond packages that increase taxpayer debt.
Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the Caldwell ISD board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info). Ask why the district is paying a lobby group like TASB for this study instead of an objective engineering firm, and demand the full cost and scope of the study be made public before any vote.

💰 Impact: Precursor to Major Bond Debt
