Secret ‘Team of Eight’ Board Training

📅 November 2, 2026

The school board is holding a ‘Team of Eight’ training in a closed session, hidden from public view. This type of training is a trademarked program of the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB), a taxpayer-funded organization that lobbies against property tax relief and parental rights.

Response

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Brackett ISD board. ‘Why is the ‘Team of Eight’ board training in Closed Session under Item 2.A? Board training should be held in the open, and taxpayers have a right to know if lobby groups like TASB are involved.’
