Undisclosed Local Improvement Plan
📅 November 12, 2026
Benavides ISD is holding a public hearing on a proposed 2026-2027 Local Improvement Plan (LIP). However, the agenda provides no details about what this plan entails, making it impossible for taxpayers to understand its potential costs or impact before the hearing. The agenda also states ‘There are no Public Agenda Items for this Meeting,’ which further obscures what will be discussed.
Response

DEMAND THE DETAILS: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘What are the specific proposals and financial implications of the 2026-2027 Local Improvement Plan? Please publish the full plan before the public hearing.’
