Vague Agenda Hides ‘Hot Topics’ from Public

📅 October 19, 2026

The agenda for the October 19 workshop only lists a ‘Discussion on Hot Topics and Important Updates.’ This non-specific language prevents taxpayers and parents from knowing what issues the board will discuss, making it impossible to prepare for public comment or hold officials accountable.

Response

Contact the Alvarado ISD Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info): ‘The agenda for the October 19 workshop is too vague. Please post a detailed agenda listing all ‘Hot Topics’ and ‘Important Updates’ so the public can be properly informed before the meeting.’
