⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Board to Appoint New Member, Bypassing Voters
📅 August 6, 2026
The board is meeting to review candidates and decide how to fill a vacant school board seat. This process will likely involve appointing a new member directly, bypassing a special election and removing the community’s direct vote on a critical new representative.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & SCRUTINIZE: A single board appointment can shift the district’s entire direction on parental rights and curriculum. Attend this meeting to vet the candidates in person. Contact the board (see the Official Agenda link for contact details): ‘We urge you to select a candidate committed to academic excellence and parental rights, not a political activist. The process for filling this vacancy must be transparent.’
