Massive $273.5M Bond + Permanent Tax Hike on Ballot

The board is voting to place a massive bond and a permanent operating tax levy on the November ballot. The bond is for $273.5 million for school construction, and the separate levy will raise over $14 million annually for “operating expenses” forever. This combined measure will cost homeowners an additional $341 per year for every $100,000 of their home’s value.
