NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Vague “Policy Modernization” Could Hide Major Changes
📅 September 29, 2026
The Governance Committee is holding a “Policy Review and Modernization” session without publicly identifying which policies are on the table. This lack of transparency prevents parents from knowing if critical rules about curriculum, gender identity, or parental notification are being changed behind the scenes.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: This is a committee meeting where new policies are often drafted. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) before the meeting and demand to know which specific policies are being discussed under Item 3.01, ‘Policy Review and Modernization.’ Ask: ‘Please publish the list of policies under review so parents can provide informed feedback.’
