ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Staff ‘Wellness Budget’ May Hide Ideological Programs
📅 September 22, 2026
The Employee Benefit Trust Board is reviewing a ‘Wellness Budget’ for district staff. These ‘wellness’ initiatives often serve as a testing ground for ideological programs like Social Emotional Learning (SEL) before they are introduced to students.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: This is an Employee Benefit Trust meeting, not a full board meeting, but it’s where spending is planned. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask for the detailed proposal for the ‘Wellness Budget’ under Item 6.3. Ask: ‘What specific vendors and training does this budget fund, and are these materials available for public review?’
