⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Hiring New Superintendent Behind Closed Doors
📅 July 30, 2026
The Board is meeting in a closed, non-public session to discuss the search for a new Superintendent. While personnel discussions can legally be private, this is the most powerful position in the district. The person they hire will have enormous control over curriculum, spending, and school policies. Parents are being shut out of the most critical decision the board will make all year.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND A VOICE: Contact the School Board immediately. Insist on a transparent search process that includes a public town hall with the finalists and a parent-led interview committee. The community must have a say before a contract is offered. Advise members to verify board contact details on the district website.

💰 Taxpayer Impact: The long-term control of your child’s education.
