Secret Board Meeting Planned
📅 July 14, 2026
The board is scheduled to vote to enter a closed-door “Executive Session” but has left the reason for this secret meeting completely blank on the public agenda. While these sessions are legally permitted for sensitive topics like personnel or lawsuits, failing to state the general purpose beforehand is a major transparency violation. Parents have a right to know why their elected officials are hiding their discussions from public view.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Call Board President Cassandra Jones at (216) 691-2048 and ask: ‘What is the specific, legally-permissible reason for the Executive Session in Item 4.1? The public deserves to know why the board is meeting in secret before you vote.’
