⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Board “Retreat” Held Without Public Agenda
📅 August 18, 2026
The Board is holding a “Retreat” with no listed topics for discussion. This allows for major policy and strategy decisions to be shaped behind closed doors, away from public scrutiny, before being presented in a formal meeting.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and email the Board of Education. ‘What specific topics will be discussed at the August 18th Board Retreat? Parents have a right to know the substance of meetings where school year strategy is decided, even if no votes are taken.’
