⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Secret Board ‘Retreat’ with Outside Consultant
📅 2026-08-02
The Board is holding a closed-door “Executive Session” for a “Board Retreat” with an outside consultant, Dr. Justin Caldwell. This format prevents parents from hearing the strategic discussions and potential agenda-setting that will shape district policy for the upcoming year.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: The topic ‘Board Retreat’ is too vague for a closed-door Executive Session. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘I demand to know the specific topic of the August 2nd Board Retreat, the cost of hiring Dr. Justin Caldwell, and why this strategic planning session is not open to the public.’
