⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Hidden Policy Changes in New Student Handbooks
📅 Discussion on Jul 8, 2026
The Board is discussing new handbooks for all four schools. These documents are often used to quietly introduce new policies on gender identity, discipline, and technology that can strip parental rights. The district has provided the files, but they require careful review before they are approved.
Recommended Action Plan
INVESTIGATE: Review the four handbook PDFs attached in the Official Agenda. Email Superintendent William Rice at bill.rice@rossrams.com: 'I request the Board provide a summary of all substantive policy changes in the 2026-27 handbooks and allow for a 30-day public comment period before any final vote.'
