NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Undisclosed Policy Changes Up for Final Vote
📅 October 20, 2026
The board is holding a second and final vote on ‘Press Plus #122,’ a package of policy updates from the Illinois Association of School Boards. The district has not published the text of these changes, which could impact anything from curriculum and library books to parental rights, leaving parents in the dark before they become official policy.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & DEMAND DELAY: The district has not published the text for ‘Press Plus #122.’ Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand the Board postpone the vote on Item 7.1 until the full text of the proposed policy changes is made public for parental review.
