The Board has scheduled a ‘Special Meeting’ with the stated intention of immediately entering a closed-door ‘Executive Session’ to discuss the ’employment of a particular individual.’ This process shuts out the public from a potentially critical decision, such as hiring a new superintendent or a controversial consultant, without any transparency or parental input. Personnel is policy, and this is how ideological appointments are made in the dark.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office and all Board members. Ask: ‘What position is being discussed in the July 28th Executive Session? Major personnel decisions must be made in the open, not behind closed doors. We demand you disclose the nature of this meeting before any vote is taken.’
