ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Public Comment Restricted at Special Meetings
📅 2026-08-19
The district’s policy for special meetings, like this one, limits public comments to agenda items only. This procedure prevents parents from raising other urgent concerns that may arise between the board’s regularly scheduled meetings.
Recommended Action Plan

Contact the Robstown ISD Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) and ask them to revise Policy BED (LOCAL). ‘Parents’ urgent concerns can’t always wait for a ‘regular’ meeting. Please allow open-topic public comment at all public board meetings.’
