👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Special Meeting Called for Secret Session
📅 2026-08-14
The board is holding a special meeting with only one purpose: to immediately enter a closed-door “Executive Session” to discuss the employment of an unnamed person. This process shields a potentially controversial hiring, firing, or settlement from any public scrutiny or comment.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘Why was a special meeting required for this executive session? The public deserves to know the general subject of personnel discussions, such as the position involved, before the Board takes action behind closed doors.’
