| ๐จ HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8) |

Vague ‘Private Spaces’ Policy Added to Student Handbook
The district is adding a new protocol for ‘Managing Restrooms and Private Areas’ to the student handbook. The description is completely vague, which could be a backdoor to allow biological males into girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms without parental knowledge or consent.
Recommended Action Plan
DEMAND CLARITY: This cannot be a vague policy. Contact the Board (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘Regarding Item 7.C, I demand the full text of the ‘Private spaces’ and ‘Managing Restrooms’ protocol be made public before any vote. What specific protections are in place to guarantee single-sex bathrooms and changing rooms for student privacy and safety?’

Board to Endorse Candidate for TASB Lobbying Group
The board is using its official position to endorse a candidate for the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). TASB is a powerful lobbying organization that frequently opposes parental rights bills in the state legislature.
Recommended Action Plan
QUESTION THE ALLIANCE: Contact the Board (see the Official Agenda link for details): ‘Regarding Item 9.E, why is the board using its official capacity to endorse candidates for TASB, a political lobbying group that often works against parental rights? The board should focus on Pilot Point students, not Austin politics.’

| Major Win (LEVEL 9) |
|
WIN: District Certified Compliance with Anti-DEI State Law
In its July meeting, the board formally approved a ‘Certification of Compliance’ with state laws that prohibit DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) duties and regulate classroom instruction. This is a proactive step to keep ideological agendas out of our schools.
How to Lock It In
AMPLIFY THE WIN: Show up to thank the Board during public comment for certifying compliance with anti-DEI laws. Get this on the record to reinforce this positive action and use it as a model for neighboring districts. ‘We thank the board for its leadership in certifying compliance with TEC ยง11.005 and ยง28.0022, ensuring our schools remain focused on academics, not ideology.’
