Vague ‘Facilities Master Plan’ Hides Spending Details

📅 October 30, 2026

The board is holding a ‘study session’ on the district’s ‘Facilities Master Plan’ project and budget, but has provided no documents, summary, or cost details for parents to review. This prevents parents from knowing if tax dollars are being planned for controversial projects like school-based ‘wellness centers’ or other ideologically-driven facility changes.

Recommended Action Plan

Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand that all documents for Item 6.a, the ‘Facilities Master Plan,’ be posted online for public review before the meeting. Ask: ‘What specific projects are included in this update, and will any funds be allocated to wellness centers, clinics, or other non-academic facilities?’

💰 Impact: Undisclosed Spending
