👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Vague ‘Placeholder’ Staff Appointment on Consent Agenda
📅 2026-08-25
The board plans to approve an ‘extra duty appointment’ for at least one staff member, but the agenda item is labeled as a ‘placeholder’ with no description of the duties or the cost. Approving undefined appointments on a consent agenda bypasses public scrutiny and accountability.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand that Item 3.11 be pulled from the Consent Agenda for a full public discussion. Ask the board: ‘What are the specific duties and costs for this ‘Placeholder’ appointment?’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Undisclosed Duties & Cost
ALERT (LEVEL 4)
New Teacher Resumes Not Publicly Viewable
📅 2026-08-25
The district is hiring multiple new teachers (Items 3.2, 3.3) and has attached their resumes to the agenda, but the content of these documents is not included in the provided text. These documents should be reviewed to ensure new hires are focused on academic excellence, not ideological activism.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: Open the files ‘Resume for Sarah C.pdf’ (Item 3.2) and ‘Resume for Jonathan A.pdf’ (Item 3.3) attached in the Official Agenda (linked above) to check for ideological training or affiliations before the board votes.
