⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Public Comment Capped at 30 Minutes
📅 August 19, 2026
The board is limiting the entire public comment period for this special meeting to a total of 30 minutes. This procedural rule can be used to silence parents by running out the clock, preventing many from speaking if a large number of residents attend.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND YOUR RIGHT TO BE HEARD: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and email the Board of Education. ‘A 30-minute limit on public comment is an unacceptable restriction on parental rights. We demand this arbitrary cap be removed to ensure all community members can address their elected representatives.’
