⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Secret Vendor Presentation for District Communications
📅 July 13, 2026
The district is considering hiring FinalSite, a major digital communications vendor. While they build websites, they also sell strategic communication packages that can be used to control the public narrative on controversial topics. The presentation materials have not been made public, so parents have no idea what is being sold to the district behind closed doors.
Recommended Action Plan

Email Superintendent Brian Murphy at bmurphy@mcspresidents.org: ‘I demand that the full presentation and sales proposal from FinalSite be posted on the district website for public review before any further discussion or vote on a contract.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: A potential multi-year contract for web services and strategic communications.
⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 4)
Hiding Social Emotional Learning in After-School Clubs
📅 July 13, 2026
The board is creating a new, expensive ‘Extracurricular Department’ with the stated goal of promoting ‘pro-social behaviors.’ This is a common backdoor to introduce Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into sports, music, and clubs, bypassing curriculum review and parental oversight.
Recommended Action Plan

Email Superintendent Brian Murphy at bmurphy@mcspresidents.org: ‘Regarding Policy 2430.04, please provide the district’s official definition of ‘pro-social behaviors’ and a list of any associated training materials or curricula that will be used in this new department.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Salaries for a new Director, multiple Coordinators, and two secretaries.
