ALERT (LEVEL 3)
Board ‘Tour’ Could Bypass Public Scrutiny
📅 August 20, 2026
A majority of the school board (five members) will be meeting for a ‘tour’ where they claim no official business will be conducted. While the district is being transparent about the event, these informal gatherings can be where board members align on issues before a public vote, reducing real debate during official meetings.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & OBSERVE: A few parents should attend this ‘tour’ to ensure no district business is discussed off the record. The board needs to know that parents are watching all of their activities, not just the official meetings.
