Secret Negotiations Behind Closed Doors
📅 2026-08-17
The board is holding a ‘Closed Session’ for ‘Negotiations’ with no public details on the topic. This common procedure can be used to make decisions on union contracts, legal settlements, or other sensitive matters completely outside of public view, preventing parental oversight.
Recommended Action Plan

Contact the Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link for contact details): ‘What is the subject of the ‘Negotiations’ in the closed session on August 17th? Parents and taxpayers deserve to know what is being decided behind closed doors with our money.’
