Board to Appoint New Member in Secret Session
📅 October 6, 2026
The Board is holding a closed-door ‘Executive Session’ to select and appoint a new member to fill a vacancy. This process bypasses voters and prevents parents from vetting the candidate who will have a say in their children’s education.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link for contact details). Demand a transparent process for filling the board vacancy under Item D. ‘Who are the candidates being considered, and what is their stance on parental rights? This appointment must not be made behind closed doors without public input.’
