⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)

Vague Policy Update Hides Specifics

📅 2026-08-24

The board is discussing an unspecified set of policy updates under the bureaucratic title “Press 122 and Additional Policies.” This vague label makes it impossible for parents to know what specific policies are being changed, which could range from routine updates to controversial new rules on gender, discipline, or curriculum without any public scrutiny.

Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and email the Board of Education. ‘Item 4.A, “Press 122 and Additional Policies,” is unacceptably vague. We demand a full list of every policy number and title under consideration be published online at least 48 hours before any discussion or vote.’
