The board is meeting in a closed session with attorneys to discuss “legal issues” related to the “Level Three parent grievance process.” This is the formal, final-stage process parents use to hold the district accountable, and the board is discussing legal strategy for it behind closed doors.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: The ‘parent grievance process’ is our mechanism for accountability. Why are legal strategies for it being discussed in secret? Contact the Judson ISD Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact info): ‘Parents have a right to a fair and transparent grievance process. Any changes or legal interpretations of this process must be debated in public, not decided behind closed doors with lawyers.’
