NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Board to Appoint New Official Behind Closed Doors
📅 September 21, 2026
The Board is holding a special meeting to go into a private ‘executive session’ to discuss appointing an unnamed public official. This lack of transparency prevents parents from knowing who is being considered for a position of power and influence over their children’s education.
Recommended Action Plan

Call Board President Tonya Wright at (330) 830-8002 and ask: ‘Who is the public official being considered in the executive session under item 4 of the September 21st agenda? The public has a right to know who you are appointing before you meet in private.’
