Under the cover of a routine insurance renewal (Item 2), the district is planning to ‘establish a clinic in 2027.’ School-based clinics can operate without parental presence, creating a pathway to provide services to students without direct, specific parental consent for each visit.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the School Board before the meeting (see the Official Agenda link for contacts). Ask: ‘Regarding Item 2, what specific services will the proposed clinic provide? What are the parental notification and consent policies for a student to be seen at this clinic? This item must be pulled for a separate discussion and vote.’
