The Board is holding a special 8:30 AM meeting to approve new hires in a closed-door ‘Executive Session.’ This timing makes it nearly impossible for working parents to attend, and discussing personnel secretly prevents the public from knowing who is being hired for what roles until after the vote.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: The Board should not vote on personnel in a closed-door session with minimal public notice. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand that Item 1.01, ‘Personnel Recommendations,’ be postponed until a regularly scheduled evening meeting, with all non-confidential information about the positions being filled released to the public at least 72 hours in advance.
