District Planning to Lobby State Legislature
📅 2026-08-06
The board is holding a workshop to plan its lobbying strategy for the upcoming 2027 Texas legislative session. This is a critical, early opportunity for parents to influence what the district advocates for before its positions are set in stone.
Recommended Action Plan

GET AHEAD OF THE LOBBYISTS: This is a planning session for the district’s legislative agenda. Attend the workshop and contact the Board (see the Official Agenda link for contact details) to demand their lobbying priorities include strengthening parental rights, curriculum transparency, and a return to academic basics. Ask them: ‘Will you commit to making parental rights a core part of your 2027 legislative platform?’
