⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Vague ‘Policy Update’ Hides Dozens of Changes
📅 August 7, 2026
The board is reviewing ‘PRESS Updates, Issue 121,’ a large bundle of policy changes from the Illinois Association of School Boards. These bundles often contain controversial updates on gender identity, parental rights, and curriculum, but the district has not disclosed the specific policies being changed.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: This is a ‘black box’ of policy changes. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for contact info) and demand they post the full text of ‘PRESS Updates, Issue 121’ online immediately. Say: ‘Parents have a right to review all proposed policy changes before the Board discusses them.’
