MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
District Cutting 3 Student Support Positions
📅 October 28, 2026
The board is voting to eliminate three ‘Intervention Specialist’ positions from the high school and Memorial Options campus. These specialists provide critical academic and behavioral support to students who are struggling, and their removal could reduce the help available to your child.
Recommended Action Plan

Email Superintendent Christopher Papouras at cpapouras@euclidschools.org and call the Board at (216) 797-2915 before the meeting: ‘Regarding Item 3.A, why are three Intervention Specialist positions being cut? Please explain publicly how the district will continue to support students who rely on these services before you vote to eliminate their teachers.’
