⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Multiple Policy Changes Hidden from Public View
📅 2026-08-24
The board is holding a final vote on revisions to five key policies, including those governing student grievances, public conduct on campus, and district visitors. The actual text of these changes has not been included in the public agenda, preventing parents from reviewing them before they become official policy.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for contact info). ‘Item 7.A, the Policy Revisions, must be tabled until the redlined documents are posted for public review. We will not accept blind votes on policies affecting student grievances and parental access to schools.’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Reduced Parental Oversight
👀 MONITOR (LEVEL 5)
Vague Personnel Hires Require Investigation
📅 2026-08-24
The board plans to approve an undisclosed list of new hires and personnel actions under a single agenda item. Without the attached list of names and positions, parents cannot know if the district is hiring for academic roles or creating new administrative or ideological positions.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: Email the Governing Board. ‘Regarding Items 6.A and 6.B on the August 24th agenda, please publicly post the full list of proposed personnel actions and new hires for public review before the board votes. Parents deserve to know who is being hired with their tax dollars.’
