⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 6)
Undisclosed Budget Details for Public Hearing
📅 August 20, 2026
The district is holding a public hearing to get input on the new budget but has not attached the budget document to the agenda. This prevents parents from reviewing spending priorities for things like SEL programs, DEI consultants, or strings-attached federal grants before they are asked for comment.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & TESTIFY: The budget is where ideological spending gets hidden. Before the hearing, parents must locate the ‘tentative DAOES budget’ on the district website or demand it from the district office. Show up to the hearing and ask pointed questions: ‘How much is allocated to DEI consultants or staff training?’ ‘Which Social-Emotional Learning vendors are we paying?’ ‘Are there any federal grants with ideological strings attached?’
