The board will hear a presentation on the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), which is the district’s master plan for spending and priorities. These plans are often used to fund ideological programs like SEL and DEI, embedding them into the district’s official goals without direct parental oversight.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE: The LCAP directs district spending for years. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand the full LCAP document and presentation slides for Item 2.1 be posted publicly before the meeting. Ask: ‘Where in the LCAP is the district spending money on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), or related programs, and how are you measuring the academic return on that spending?’
