The agenda for the November 17th Juvenile Justice Planning Committee meeting has not been released to the public. This committee advises on services for ‘at-risk’ and ‘undisciplined’ youth, a domain where programs that bypass parental consent are often introduced. Without an agenda, parents have no way to provide oversight on policies affecting vulnerable children.

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Email organizer Kevin Farrell at kevin.farrell@ncdps.gov: ‘I demand the full agenda and all attachments for the November 17th Juvenile Justice Planning Committee meeting be published immediately. Parents have a right to know what policies affecting at-risk youth will be discussed before the meeting takes place.’
