The board is holding joint ‘Working Groups’ with the City Council on vague topics like ‘Public Safety & Well Being’ and ‘Youth, Community Service & Engagement.’ These broad terms are often used as cover for introducing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) or other ideological programs without clear parental oversight.
Recommended Action Plan

ATTEND & REPORT: This is a planning meeting where bad ideas can start. We need parents in the room for the ‘Working Groups’ under Item 6 to listen, take notes, and report back on what is actually being discussed under the cover of ‘Well Being.’ Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) to confirm the public’s ability to observe these working groups.
