The board limits total public comment to just 30 minutes for all speakers combined and reserves the right to shorten the already brief two-minute individual speaking time. This policy can be used to silence parents who wish to speak on important issues by capping the total number of speakers at as few as 15.

DEMAND YOUR RIGHT TO BE HEARD: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand the Board remove the 30-minute total time cap on public comment. ‘Parents will not be silenced by arbitrary time limits. We demand a policy that respects the public’s right to address their elected officials.’
