🚨 HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Undisclosed Policy Changes from State Association
📅 August 14, 2026
The Board is discussing two sets of policy updates (Issues 121 & 122) recommended by PRESS, the Illinois Association of School Boards’ policy service. The actual text of these policies is not included in the agenda, which could conceal significant changes to parental rights, curriculum, or gender policies without public scrutiny.
Recommended Action Plan

INVESTIGATE & DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: The agenda does not contain the text of the proposed policy changes from PRESS PLUS. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand: ‘Please immediately post the full text of all proposed policy changes under PRESS PLUS Issues 121 and 122. Parents have a right to review these documents before the Board discusses them.’
