The Board is voting to approve the 2026-2027 School Improvement Plans for every school in the district without making the full plans public. Parents cannot review the specific goals, curriculum strategies, or spending for their child’s school before they are locked in for the year.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the Chatham County Schools Board of Education (see the Official Agenda link for contact information) and demand the Board postpone the vote on Item VI.A, the 2026-2027 School Improvement Plans, until the full plan for every school is posted publicly for parental review. Tell them: ‘We will not accept a blanket approval of secret plans for our children’s schools.’
