ALERT (LEVEL 4)
Vague Furniture Purchase in Special Meeting
📅 2026-08-12
The district is holding a special meeting to approve a furniture purchase from “Worthington Furniture” but has not disclosed the cost or purpose. This lack of transparency prevents parents from knowing if this is a responsible use of taxpayer money or if it’s tied to a new, unvetted classroom model.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and ask: ‘What is the total cost of the Worthington Furniture purchase on the August 12th agenda? What is the specific purpose of this furniture, and why does it require a special meeting for approval?’

💰 Taxpayer Impact: Undisclosed
