WATCH (LEVEL 4)
Public Comment Policy Requires Advance Online Registration
📅 September 30, 2026
The district requires patrons to register online before noon on the day before the meeting to speak at a board meeting. This policy can limit public participation by preventing same-day registration or spontaneous comment.
Policy Use

WATCH: Note the district’s public comment policy under Item 4. This advance registration requirement can be a barrier to participation. Compare with model policies on public comment to assess if it’s overly restrictive.
