⚠️ NEEDS REVIEW (LEVEL 7)
Strict Limits on Public Comment Time
📅 August 6, 2026
The board’s rules limit total public comment to one hour (30 minutes for agenda items, 30 for non-agenda items) and allow the President to shorten individual speaking times if many people sign up. This is a common tactic to silence parental opposition on controversial topics by running out the clock before everyone can speak.
Recommended Action Plan

KNOW THE RULES: The Board’s rules limit public comment and allow them to cut your time short. Arrive early, sign up to speak, and coordinate with other parents to ensure your key messages are delivered within the first 30 minutes. Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link) and demand they expand public comment to ensure all parental voices are heard.
