🚨 HIGH CONCERN (LEVEL 8)
Board Holds Closed-Door ‘Retreat’ with Consultant
📅 2026-08-01
The Board is holding a ‘Board Retreat’ in a closed-door ‘Executive Session’ with an external consultant, Dr. PJ Caposey. This format prevents public oversight of what could be strategic planning or training that introduces new ideological frameworks into the district’s governance.
Recommended Action Plan

DEMAND TRANSPARENCY: Contact the District Office (see the Official Agenda link for details) and ask: ‘Why is the Board’s ‘Retreat’ with consultant Dr. PJ Caposey being held in a closed Executive Session? All board training and strategic planning should be fully transparent to the parents and taxpayers who fund this district. What is the cost and topic of this retreat?’
